VISION
The CSDPA facilitates connections between Deputy Principals of Catholic Secondary Colleges in WA that enables Christ-centred collaboration and conversations that enhance a holistic, flourishing education for students in our care.
MISSION
As a professional body, the Catholic Secondary Deputy Principal’s Association, within the framework of the Archbishop’s Mandate for the mission of Catholic schools, supports and promotes Deputy Principals (and others who work in equivalent roles) working in Catholic Schools in Western Australia. The association provides service to members to support and strengthen within the areas of learning, engagement, accountability, and discipleship.
Through a range of activities, the CSDPA:

Has a collective responsibility for the success of Catholic Secondary education

Represents the voice of its members by providing an input into Systemic, State and National Educational developments;

Advocates for a deepening relationship with Jesus and promotes the faith dimension of Catholic schools through: Identity, Christian Witness, Living the Gospel Values and Building a faith community;

Supports members in their leadership role as coordinators of teaching/learning programs that focus on student achievement at every level;

Supports members in their roles as stewards of school pastoral care programs that cater for the well-being of students, staff, parents and respective stakeholders;

Encourages members to professionally engage with their school community to form well-targeted, highly communicative partnerships;

Provides leadership in the development of collaborative, professional relationships with schools, organisations and other institutions focused on the improvement of education in schools, communities and workplace settings.

Provides widely recognised leadership formation for the improvement of teaching and learning and the assessment of all outcomes.

The Association is run by an Executive Committee who are elected by the members. The Executive Committee meets regularly to plan events and activities that are designed to support and promote Deputy Principals working in Catholic Schools in Western Australia. Members of the Executive Committee are very open to receiving contact from any member of the association and are keen to respond to any request for help or assistance.
